Haworth Restorations

Based in Haworth, we offer our services across West Yorkshire, East Lancashire, West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire.

My name is Michael, and I run Haworth Restorations. I hold a degree in Sculpture from Edinburgh College of Art and have always worked closely with natural materials such as stone, wood, metal, and lime. This background strongly influences how I approach both buildings and landscapes, with an emphasis on understanding form, structure, and how materials behave over time.

Haworth Restorations undertakes a wide range of work across traditional buildings and outdoor spaces. This includes restoration and repair work, with a focus on addressing issues such as damp and water ingress using appropriate, breathable materials. Lime plastering, lime pointing, and other sympathetic repairs form an important part of this work, helping older buildings perform as they were intended.

The business also offers heritage DOFF cleaning for the careful cleaning of historic stonework and masonry, allowing surfaces to be cleaned without causing damage. Where access is difficult, drone inspections can be used to assess roofs, chimneys, and high-level masonry, helping to identify potential issues safely and efficiently.

Dry stone walling is another key element of the work, ranging from insurance repairs and gap filling to the construction of new walls or stone features. In addition, hard landscaping projects are undertaken, integrating stonework and traditional techniques to create practical, well-considered outdoor spaces.

Old buildings and landscapes often come with unexpected challenges. If you are experiencing damp issues, water ingress, or would like advice on a restoration, walling, or landscaping project, please feel free to get in touch to discuss how Haworth Restorations can help..
